Description from the seller

Refined pair of English sterling silver decorative vases, punched in marks, made between the late 19th and early 20th century, in the full late Victorian / early Edwardian period.
The vases feature an extremely rich repoussé and hand-chased workmanship with elegant floral motifs, scrolls, and Rococo Revival decorations, typical of the high-end English ornamental production of the era. The slender shapes, the wavy rim, and the high execution quality confer on the pair an extremely scenographic and decorative presence.
Both objects bear English marks for sterling silver, including the maker’s mark “DF” and British assay stamps. The pair is particularly interesting both for build quality and for condition, very rare to find so intact: no dents or significant deformation, decorative details still sharp and with excellent overall symmetry.
Total weight: about 360 grams.
Objects ideal for collectors of antique English silver, interiors with an international taste, Wunderkammer or classic and eclectic environments.
Excellent condition for age, with normal and very slight signs of wear compatible with over a hundred years of history.
