Bookends (2) - Pair of vintage green ceramic cat bookends. - Ceramics - Art Deco

Very pretty pair of decorative bookends representing two stylized cats, in deep green glazed ceramic.

The two cats match and are placed on either side of the books. Their weight helps them to securely hold the volumes.

Dimensions of a bookend:

Length: about 15 cm
Height: about 14 cm
Depth: about 10 cm
Weight: about 760 g each, i.e. about 1.5 kg for the pair

Beautiful glossy green glaze with lovely nuances.
The details of the face, paws and tail give a lot of personality to the whole.

Vintage condition with a few small signs due to age and use, visible in the photos. The set remains very decorative.
