He strived to find an effective system to illuminate the work of his employees, featuring articulated arms with no cables between them and made from an alloy of copper, tin, and zinc. The first models were green and gray, like this piece. The measurements of each arm are 0.40 m and the shade diameter is 0.20 m. It is very well cared for and ships by insured mail, with tracking.
