Icon - Wood

In the photo I see an old religious icon depicting the Virgin Mary and Jesus on the cross. The image appears hand-painted and shows clear signs of aging. Especially interesting are the old inscriptions and the year or date given at the bottom right. Whether it is an original from the 19th century or a later painting cannot be determined with certainty from the photo alone.
! With a width of 16 cm and a height of 20 cm, this is a small icon. Such pictures are indeed collectible if they are old and original.
In your photo I notice the dark wooden panel, the gold-colored inscriptions, and the depiction of the Virgin Mary. The year at the bottom right is unfortunately not clearly legible. Therefore I would not set the age yet.
