AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Maserati 300S Scale Model 1:18
Manufacturer Pit Stop S.r.l. Modena
Maserati Collection

The Maserati 300 S was a race car produced by Maserati between 1955 and 1958 to participate in the FIA World Sports Championship. 26 units were made.

The designer Medardo Fantuzzi had a transverse four-speed gearbox linked to the 6-cylinder, 3.0 liter (2992 cc) Maserati inline engine. The engine design was by Vittorio Bellantani, and he used three Weber carburetors.

Instead of the tube frame of the 250F, Medardo Fantuzzi used a tube frame with an aluminum body. A new feature was the use of a De Dion rear axle.

The Maserati 300S won at the Nürburgring in 1956 and finished second.

This beautiful historic Maserati 300S is presented here as a silhouette of this famous model and is wonderful to place on your desk as a paperweight. Your visitors will have plenty to talk about!
