Natural sculpture on a wood and brass base featuring Malachite with Chrysocolla as the main minerals, from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, weighing 519 g and measuring 130 × 81 × 51 mm.
Description from the seller
An elegant natural sculpture that unites two minerals with strong aesthetic and symbolic impact: malachite, with its hypnotic dark green bands, and chrysocolla, which with its blues and turquoises brings a touch of brightness and freshness. This mineral association originates from the Congo, a land rich in copper deposits from which both minerals form. Malachite is born from the oxidation of copper deposits and is recognizable by its concentric motifs and vivid veining, almost painterly. Chrysocolla, also copper-associated, develops as filling in cavities and fractures, offering tones that range from sky blue to turquoise green. Together they create a mineral landscape that seems painted by nature itself, a contrast of depth and lightness, solidity and fluidity. Metaphysically, this combination is considered a bridge between earthly energy and spiritual fluidity: malachite, the “stone of transformation,” favors change and inner growth, while chrysocolla, linked to the throat chakra, stimulates authentic communication, calm, and creativity. United, these two forces provide balance, harmony, and protection. Mounted on a decorative wood and brass base, this specimen becomes a refined decorative object: perfect for studies, living rooms, and prestigious mineral collections.
