AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

This barely used Leica Minilux Edition Titan comes in its original presentation box and with the packaging bearing the (special) order number 18030. The serial number is 2108668 and the production year is 1995. The original strap is included.

The Minilux is a legendary ‘premium compact’ from the analogue era thanks to its exceptionally well-performing Leica Summarit F:2.4/40 mm lens, which completely retracts into the camera body when the camera is switched off. The camera thus fits in a jacket pocket, and one can always carry a ready-to-shoot ‘point-and-shoot’ camera, capable of meeting almost any photographic challenge. Because: fabulously accurate autofocus as well as manual focus adjustment: automatic aperture as well as manual control and equipped with a built-in flash.

In addition to aperture-priority, the Minilux also has a program shutter, making it a true ‘point and shoot’. The controls are simple and Leica-thoughtful: all with one dial. Furthermore, the camera features a self-timer, various photographic modes and a button for deliberate under- or overexposure. DX-coded film rolls automatically set the ISO value; the camera has a viewfinder and a responsive shutter release. Shutter speeds from 1/400 to 99 seconds. Equipped with a tripod mount.

The analogue era may seem past, but with a high-quality camera in your pocket, the basic form of photography feels hypermodern again. With a Minilux, you’re right on time, perhaps even ahead of its time.
