Description from the seller
Very sturdy English silver pocket watch in good condition.
The pocket watch has a white enamel dial with Roman hour numerals, and it is also equipped with the original blue-steel hands. There runs an unobtrusive thin hairline diagonally across the dial (see photos).
The sturdy thick silver case looks good and is in top condition, free from deep scratches and dents. Both the crystal cover and the beautifully engraved back cover close excellently. The case has been hallmarked silver in multiple places with the year letter M indicating Birmingham, 1886.
The very high-quality movement runs very well, and the movement also looks very clean. The movement is inscribed with the address and name of the English watch importer Am Watch & Co and the serial number.
The diameter including crown is 70 mm; without the crown it is 62 mm.
The sturdy watch weighs 130 grams!
