This chess set is an official joint work between the century-old French wooden toy brand Vilac and the American pop art master Keith Haring. It is officially authorized by the Keith Haring Foundation and launched in limited edition in 2014. The work matches Keith Haring's iconic graffiti villains, red hearts and other classic pop symbols with various chess pieces. The black and white chess pieces are presented with white stripes on a black background and black stripes on a white background. The storage bag is also printed with the artist's classic self-portrait and signature. The chessboard adopts a classic black and white grid design, with warm-textured solid wood chess pieces and an exclusive storage bag.
