Land Rover Series 2A 109 series 2a from 1964, 42,782 km, manual transmission, petrol, grey, 2.25 L, 64 hp, located in the Netherlands, with Dutch registration and no CoC present.
Description from the seller
GENERAL
This 1964 Land Rover Series 2A Cherry Picker is a rare and functional classic, powered by a 2.25-liter 4-cylinder gasoline engine. The vehicle has been thoroughly restored and equipped with a well-functioning Simon L25 hydraulic cherry picker.
On the registration, the vehicle is listed as "station wagon/combination", which during that period was a common designation for conversions to a special body. This makes the Land Rover a unique sight for enthusiasts, collectors, or promotional purposes.
EXTERIOR
During the restoration, the bodywork was completely dismantled, ice-pearl blasted and repainted in the classic Mid Grey (8683). In full accordance with the original Land Rover specifications, the welds remain visible and no unnecessary filler was used. The bulkhead has been replaced with a durable galvanized unit and around it new window and door seals have been fitted.
TECHNICAL
The chassis has been thoroughly de-rusted, professionally repaired where necessary (including new front outriggers and repair to the front of the chassis due to old tow-bar damage) and fully painted in chassis paint. The braking system has been renewed throughout. The 2.25L gasoline engine and the gearbox have been fitted with new gaskets, seals, a clutch plate and release bearing.
The hydraulic pump, connections and hoses of the Simon L25 cherry picker are completely new and the system functions properly (due to the age, hose-rupture valves are not fitted). The windshield wiper motors have been rebuilt. Note: the heater and wipers still need to be electrically connected, and after standing the car locally leaks a drop of oil.
INTERIOR
The interior is neat and functional. There are new aftermarket seats installed, preserving the original steering wheel, gauge cluster and heater. To maintain the rugged work character, the cabin is finished bare, without a headliner or door trim.
DOCUMENTATION & COLLECTION
There is very limited historical documentation accompanying the car. The sale includes the older registration documents with the historical configurational description. The vehicle must be collected by the buyer on-site.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
