This 1930s Belgian Val Saint Lambert Luxval Helvète Art Deco vase is made of Rosaline pressed glass and retains its original factory sticker.
Description from the seller
Art Deco vase "Helvète" – Val Saint Lambert (Luxval) – C. Graffart & R. Delvenne – 1935 – Met sticker
An elegant Art Deco vase in the beloved, soft Rosaline color (pink). This is the sought-after model "Helvète" from the iconic Luxval collection (1935) of the Belgian crystal and glass manufacturer Val Saint Lambert. The modernist design is by leading designers Charles Graffart and René Delvenne.
The vase features a graceful tulip-shaped silhouette with a wide, flaring neck. The decoration is characterized by clean vertical bands that evolve at the base into broad, smooth oval relief forms, resting on a stable, polygonal foot.
Very special about this example is that the original silvery factory sticker "V.S.L. LUXVAL Belgium" remains fully intact on the neck. This model is officially documented in the Luxval catalog of 1935.
In excellent vintage condition. The glass is clear and completely intact, with no chips, cracks, or limescale. As entirely normal and inherent to the early Luxval production from the 1930s, the pressed glass may contain small air bubbles and fine production lines (cooling lines). The underside shows light, normal scuff marks appropriate to its age. See the photos for an accurate depiction.
Carefully packed and shipped by registered mail with track & trace.
