Description from the seller

This Serpentine sphere strikingly demonstrates the characteristic diversity of this rock. The surface presents a lively interplay of rich, mossy greens, lighter yellow-cream areas, and finely distributed darker inclusions, giving the stone an almost net-like, organic structure. The natural patterns become especially clear with polishing, creating a deep, calm presence while simultaneously offering intricate detail.

Serpentine is known for its often cloudy to mosaic textures, which are particularly harmoniously expressed in this sphere. The uniform spherical shape enhances the effect of the patterns, as the color veining and inclusions continually recombine from every viewing direction to produce a different image. Small natural structures and fine lines underscore the authentic character of the material and make each specimen unmistakable.

As a decorative object, this sphere appears both tranquil and powerful. It fits wonderfully into mineral collections, but also serves as a striking accent in living or workspaces. Serpentine is traditionally associated with balance, grounding, and inner calm—subtly in the background, yet fitting the gentle, natural radiance of this special piece.
