Charming pair of early 20th-century wrought-iron chairs of French origin. Perfect for outdoor use, they will bring a delicate and romantic air to any terrace or garden.
Art Nouveau is the concept used to designate a movement of artistic renewal that took place from the late 19th to the early 20th century. Its main aim was to create a young and new art, freer and more modern, a break with the academicism prevailing at the time. To this end, it drew inspiration from nature, while also incorporating the innovations brought by the Industrial Revolution, especially new materials and techniques (steel, glass…). All of this is summarized by a statement that could be understood as the movement’s motto: the awareness that “the future has already begun.” It sought to integrate art into daily life, breaking with historical styles. It is characterized by sinuous lines, nature-inspired forms such as flowers, stems or insects, and an organic design that conveys fluidity and elegance. Its development was international, with variants such as German Jugendstil or Catalan Modernisme, although its origin lies in Belgium.
Product shipping will be paid for by the buyer according to the dimensions, weight, and destination. We will contact you to arrange it and agree on the budget. Shipping costs include professionally tailored packaging; and the shipment, with tracking number and warranty.
