This impressive agate slice shows an extraordinarily clear and harmonious banding structure that spreads outward in perfect concentric lines from the center. The fine layers flow in elegant graduations from smoky gray through warm brown and beige tones to cool bluish nuances in the inner area.
In the center there is a natural opening surrounded by a delicate crystal zone. This small druse structure forms a fascinating contrast to the smooth agate bands and gives the slice added depth. The interplay of the open center and the symmetrical lines creates an almost geodetic, architectural effect.
The polished surface makes the characteristic agate bands stand out especially clearly, while the outer edges are intentionally kept natural, preserving the mineral’s original character. Displayed on the simple metal stand, the slice almost resembles a naturally formed sculpture.
