Enchanted Nature - Art Nouveau

Leaping stag in dynamic, stylized motion with elegantly curved antlers, embodying the quintessential French Art Deco style.

The sculpture is a colorfully patinated zinc die-cast piece (no signature or foundry mark).
It sits on a light rectangular marble slab (probably French limestone marble), which is itself mounted on two rectangular black marble slabs.
Multicolored stone combinations were very popular in Art Deco.
