Description from the seller

Extraordinary bas-relief sculpture in full-bronze cast patinated, by the renowned Italian sculptor Angelo Maineri (born in Varese in 1962, trained at the Brera Academy and known for important public monuments and museum installations).

The work depicts a statuesque female figure with a strong expressive and spiritual impact, who holds a large scroll/document in her hands. The style blends the purity of classical tradition with a pronounced volumetric and geometric synthesis typical of high-level contemporary sculpture.

Details and Authenticity:

Author: Angelo Maineri

Technique / Material: Patinated bronze sculpture cast, hand-finished.

Edition: No. 1 / XLIX (1 of 49 copies). As this is the very first specimen of the edition, it carries particularly high collectible value.

Signature: Signed in the artist's original hand ("A. MAINERI") at the bottom on the edge of the bas-relief, with numbering impressed to the left.

Dimensions of the sculpture alone: approximately 60 x 40 cm.

Presentation: The work is embellished with a fine contemporary artisanal frame featuring a black lacquered wooden passe-partout and two-tone molding (mahogany and gold), ready for display.
