Lavorazione e Dettagli: Workmanship and Details: The sculpture stands out for a complex and fascinating workmanship that makes use of a substantial inclusion of silver leaf and gold leaf within the glass mass. The slender body of the decanter, characterized by elegant vertical ribs, presents a warm-toned base color (between amber and reddish-violet) on which the metallic fragmentation creates a dense textural effect, textured and incredibly luminous. Observing the interior of the flared neck, one can appreciate the refined amber-striations that run along the structure.
Tappo e Base: Stopper and Base: The stopper is a true jewel, worked with the same technique of veined silver leaf and topped by an elegant spherical element embellished in gold leaf. The circular supporting foot is also richly decorated, wrapped in a bright and dense application of gold leaf that gives the work stability and visual prestige.
Autenticità artigianale: Artisanal authenticity: Turning the object over, on the bottom of the base the classic sign of the rough pontil scar is perfectly visible. This detail is the unmistakable signature of mouth-blown glass and of the modeling carried out entirely by hand by the master glassblower.
