Italian early 20th-century cornice in gilded varnish, with a wide shaped moulding and dark connecting profiles. The effect is warm and classic: the inclined surfaces catch the light and give relief to the work to be inserted.

The wooden construction with preparation and, where present, plaster ornaments is documented by photographs of the front and the details. The frame is empty by proposal; it can be set to a new pairing with a work compatible with its opening.

Cornice italiana del primo Novecento a vernice dorata, con larga modanatura sagomata e profili scuri di raccordo. L’effetto è caldo e classico: le superfici inclinate intercettano la luce e danno rilievo all’opera che verrà inserita.

La costruzione in legno con preparazione e, dove presenti, ornati in gesso è documentata dalle fotografie del fronte e dei particolari. Proposta vuota, la cornice può essere destinata a un nuovo abbinamento con un’opera compatibile con la sua apertura.
