Frame - Wood, Plaster - Gilded frame with a rich vegetal frieze – early 20th century

Italian early 1900s frame in Baroque taste, with a rich outer band of tracery, leaves and volutes. The raised decoration, animated by brown shadows, is connected to the opening by a broad gilded band and a slim inner frieze.

The wooden construction with preparation and, where present, plaster ornamentation is documented by photographs of the front and details. Empty proposed, the frame can be destined for a new pairing with a work compatible with its opening.
