Description from the seller
Collector's figure "The Drinking One" — a sophisticated porcelain art sculpture by the German sculptor Ernst Wenck, manufactured at the Rosenthal porcelain manufactory.
The artist Ernst Wenck designed the draft of this graceful sculpture in 1924. According to the backstamp, the coding indicates the artwork was produced in 1938 in the art department in Selb.
A fully sculpted, kneeling female nude drinking water directly from the hands formed into a bowl. The figure stands on a rectangular plinth (pedestal).
