Vintage Kern & Söhne 400-Day / Anniversary Torsion Clock - Germany - Mid-20th Century

A beautiful vintage mechanical anniversary clock (400-day torsion clock) made by the renowned German manufacturer Kern & Söhne (marked with the authentic "KS" logo on the backplate).
This elegant timepiece features a classic cream-colored textured dial with Arabic numerals and teardrop markers, supported by two brass twisted columns, all resting on a solid brass base under its original glass dome.

The clock is equipped with a classic 4-ball pendulum and includes a built-in locking mechanism at the bottom of the base to protect the suspension wire during transit, as well as three adjustable leveling feet for precision setup.

## Condition Report:
* **Visual Condition:** Excellent aesthetic condition. The brass elements have developed a beautiful, authentic vintage patina. The dial, hands, and original glass dome are fully intact and without damage.
* **Mechanical Condition:** For restoration / reconditioning. The suspension wire (torsion spring) is broken, which is why the pendulum is currently detached. The lower block (bottom mount) is still present on top of the pendulum. The movement gears appear intact, clean, and free of rust, but the clock requires a new .023" Horolovar suspension wire, a top block, a fork, and professional calibration to be put back into working order.
