This vibrant acrylic-on-canvas work delves into contemporary Fauvism and the figurative current with botanical nuances, depicting a majestic tiger in profile surrounded by lush peonies in shades of pink and crimson. The composition stands out for its bold and expressive use of color, where the warm orange and gold of the fur contrast with the depth of an emerald green background and bright yellow, gestural flashes. Through fluid brushstrokes, spatula marks, and highly textured lines that add dynamism to both the foliage and the feline’s anatomy, the piece juxtaposes the untamed power of wildlife with the ephemeral delicacy of the floral realm. Through this suggestive synthesis, the artist seeks to convey a message of natural balance, resilience, and majestic beauty, celebrating the harmonious coexistence between nature’s sovereign power and its more subtle, poetic side.
