Description from the seller
Up for auction is the highly sought-after Guyana Enmore Blend 1988–1990 "Omega" edition, presented by independent bottler Jack Tar in partnership with Project 1091.
Serving as the counterpart to the Alpha release, Omega represents an extraordinary piece of liquid Demerara history. Aged for 30 years across both tropical and continental climates, this rum is a master blend of three distinct ex-bourbon barrels: cask #42 (1988), cask #40 (1990), and cask #55 (1990). Distilled on the iconic Enmore Wooden Continuous Coffey Still, it captures the signature full-proof richness and intricate wood character unique to Guyanese heritage stills.
Bottled at a cask strength of 51.6% ABV in August 2021, only 252 bottles of the Omega release were produced for the entire world.
Tasting Notes: Layers of dark caramel, espresso, toasted wood, rich leather, stewed prunes, and warming spices, concluding in a dry, complex, and persistent finish.
Condition: Flawless collector's grade condition throughout (fill level into neck, intact seal, crisp label).
