AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Object Description
• Publisher: The Avalon Hill Company (Baltimore, Maryland - USA)
• Game: Stalingrad – A famous World War II strategic simulation on the Eastern Front.
• Copyright year: 1963 (T.A.H.C. - Made in U.S.A., clearly visible on the front of the box)
• Language: Original English edition (rules and charts included)
Condition and Contents:
An exceptional piece of 1960s tabletop wargaming history. The lot includes:
• Original box: Period-era black-and-white artwork with the iconic pink fascia. Shows light and normal signs of aging along the corners and edges, but is solid and free of major tears.
• Map / Map board: Large rigid hex map divided into panels, with blue canvas hinges. Playing surface clean, colors well preserved and joints in good condition.
• Documentation: Original rules manual, reference charts sheet, and game scenario.
• Components: Set of dice and square counters (historic counters) stored and organized inside small non-original protective plastic containers.
Notes for bidders:
The game is sold as-is, faithfully documented by the images. As a vintage edition with decades of history, no item-by-item count of the individual cardboard counters has been performed; therefore the lot is offered as unverified for absolute completeness, although it appears visually rich and well-organized.
