Wood Chisel - 0 cm

A complete 9-piece set of Jinjiro chisels from Japan’s Showa era, crafted from high-speed steel and housed in their original black-lacquered wooden storage box.

Jinjiro is a renowned traditional Japanese chisel workshop. This set features high-grade HSS—a material far more resistant to heat and wear than standard laminated steel, and highly resistant to losing its temper annealing. At the time of their production, these represented a premium specification. Each chisel bears the maker’s mark, and the wooden handles retain their original red factory labels indicating the blade width. The set offers a comprehensive range of sizes—from wide, flat-edged chisels to narrow, slender ones—making them ideal for tasks such as cutting mortises, leveling surfaces, and performing fine woodworking.
The set comes in its original, custom-fitted wooden box, perfect for organized storage. As vintage tools from a storied workshop, they show natural signs of wear from long-term use; they are ready for service after a simple sharpening.
