Description from the seller
Round vintage wall mirror with black faux leather (skai) frame – bold silhouette and seasoned mirror glass
A mirror with character. This round vintage wall mirror combines a wide, curved frame with black skai upholstery and clearly weathered mirror glass. The calm circular shape and the fine leather texture of the upholstery give the whole piece a restrained, rugged look.
The dark surround forms a beautiful contrast with a light wall and pairs nicely with wooden furniture, ceramics and other vintage accessories.
Vintage design with its own character
Skai is a synthetic leather-like upholstery that was also used in vintage furniture and interior accessories. In this mirror, the upholstered frame adds extra texture and a softer appearance than a metal or wooden surround.
The mirror glass is noticeably speckled and shows scattered traces and larger worn spots, especially around the center. This makes this piece particularly appealing to lovers of well-worn interior items and decorative mirrors with visible signs of age.
Characteristics
* Round vintage wall mirror.
* Wide, curved frame with black skai upholstery.
* Fine leather grain texture in the surround.
* Distinctively worn and speckled mirror image.
Condition
Used vintage condition with clear signs of use and age. The mirror glass is speckled, with larger irregular spots, user marks; see photos. Please view all overview and detail photos carefully; they are part of the description.
A characterful wall decoration for a vintage, industrial or eclectic interior, where the combination of a sleek silhouette and well-worn materials comes into its own.
