Voigtländer Brillant 120 twin-lens reflex camera, produced in Germany in the 1930s–1940s, in discrete condition and tested and working.
Description from the seller
Up for auction: a classic, compact and iconic 120-format twin-lens reflex camera with vintage charm—the Voigtländer Brillant, produced in Germany at the historic Braunschweig plants since the 1930s.
The lot is presented in fair and well-used condition, ideal as a collectible piece and for display in the historical state in which it is.
Optics. The original lens is structurally intact. For utmost accuracy, a widespread and normal presence of vintage dust behind the lenses is noted, entirely expected for a piece of this age.
Mechanics: The unit retains its original manual film-cocking/cinematism. The central mechanical shutter and the front-mounted selection levers respond to vintage operation, moving along their travel.
Aesthetics: Discreet vintage conditions with evident and widespread signs of use and aging on the metal camera body, as clearly documented by the photographs. On the upper front, the historic original metal badge "Voigtländer" stands out, along with the lower engraving "BRILLANT", both still legible. The brown leather strap on the side is present from the era.
Tracked international shipping, fully insured and professionally ultra-protective packaging to ensure maximum safety during transport.
