Description from the seller
Ancient French provincial two-door cabinet – Louis XV influence
Characterful French provincial armoire with graceful Louis XV touches, a warm brown-red wood tone and a beautiful, well-worn patina.
This imposing two-door cabinet is distinguished by its elegant proportions and traditional furniture construction. The two large paneled doors are equipped with refined, flowing profiles, characteristic of the French rural furniture tradition.
The broad, molded crown molding is centrally adorned with a decorative flower medallion. The long, richly ornamented metal keyplates and visible hinges give the piece a particularly authentic appearance.
The subtly curved legs and gracefully shaped plinth complete the ensemble.
