Living Africa: Tribal Objects for Your Home

This mbulu ngulu ancestor effigy belongs to the classic style developed by the Kota Obamba on the left bank of the Ogooué: an oval, concave face, adorned with a central cruciform motif in relief, from which the intricate motifs of a decoration obtained by assembling fine lamellae are arranged.
