Beautiful original animation cel from Urusei Yatsura, depicting Ten (Jariten) in a playful flying pose.

The character is hand-painted on a sheet of acetate, using the traditional technique employed in anime production before the introduction of digital animation.

The cel features at the top the original registration holes and the sequence indication “A2”, typical elements of material used during the production process.

A color background visible in the photographs is also included, with sky and a power pole. The background is NOT original to the production: it is a copy/print added solely for display purposes, to enhance the cel and recreate the atmosphere of the scene.
