Description from the seller

Grand Art Deco perfume bottle – cut crystal and 800 silver – SIAP, Italy

Elegant and imposing Italian Art Deco perfume bottle, apparently dating from the 1920s–1930s.

The bottle is made of thick colorless crystal/glass, entirely worked with a remarkable geometric Art Deco pattern: broad beveled facets, matte fan motifs, and deep engraved lines forming a very graphic composition.

It is topped by a superb faceted stopper in harmony, reproducing the same geometric decor as the body of the bottle.

The neck mount is in solid 800‰ silver, clearly bearing the hallmarks “800” and “SIAP.” SIAP corresponds to the Società Argenterie Posaterie, an important silverware manufacturer established in Alessandria, Piedmont, Italy, already listed in the official directory of Italian silversmiths and goldsmiths of 1924. (Previously Barbaris - Pietrasanta).

Very good overall condition, a micro chip on the tip of the stopper barely perceptible, as well as a microscopically small one on the bottle almost invisible (see last photo).
