Used Dutch postage stamp from 1913, depicting Queen Wilhelmina, with a face value of 10 gulden, catalogued as NVPH 101 and Michel 92B.
Description from the seller
Holland, year 1913 – the original postage stamp with a high denomination of 10 guilders, depicting Queen Wilhelmina.
The stamp comes from a jubile[e] issue commemorating 100 years of Dutch independence (1813–1913). It features an ornate, detailed engraving in orange-red.
Catalog data:
* NVPH no. 101
* Michel no. 92B
According to my analysis
* Print run: 23,189 copies
* Condition: canceled
Postmark:
Visible circular date stamp. The locality is probably EDAM (Netherlands). From preserved fragments of the date stamp one can tentatively read “18.12.1…”. The last digits cannot be deciphered.
Back side:
On the back there is a handwritten signature, probably “Roler”, which may originate from a previous owner, collector, or philatelic dealer. The author of the signature remains unidentified.
There is also a trace of a previous attachment/mounting of the stamp.
A stamp used for postal purposes, with a preserved detailed drawing of the portrait and ornaments. Visible signs of age and use. The condition of the paper, perforation, postmark, and reverse side are shown in the photographs.
The item is being sold exactly as the stamp shown in the photos.
