les etains du graal - Military miniature figurine - Set van vijf militaire tinnen miniatuurfiguren Eerste Wereldoorlog op houten sokkel (13,5 cm) (5) - tin/wood

Beautiful, detailed set of five solid tin (étain) collectible figures of soldiers from the First World War (1914-1918). The figures are mounted on their characteristic wooden blocks, each provided with an original French-language nameplate indicating the specific army unit and the year.
These larger and heavier quality figures are presumably produced by a renowned French tin foundry such as Les Étains du Graal or Les Étains du Prince. A very beautiful and historically interesting lot for the militaria or miniature collector.
The set consists of the following 5 figures:
• Soldat Allemand - Tenue d'Assaut (1914-1918) | German stormtrooper
• États-Unis d'Amérique - Fantassin en Tenue de Campagne (1917) | American infantryman
• Infanterie Britannique - Tenue de Parade | British infantryman in parade uniform with bearskin
• Fantassin Allemand (1914-1918) | German infantryman with Pickelhaube (spiked helmet)
• "Le Poilu" (1914-1918) | French infantryman
