Pair of wooden bedside tables in Baroque style, with floral marquetry and chiselled bronze handles, dating from 1850–1900.
AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
Pair of bombe bedside tables in Baroque style, characterized by curving and sinuous lines. They feature rich wooden inlay with floral and vegetal motifs that adorn the top, sides, and drawers, embellished with cast bronze hardware and supported by scroll-carved feet. Stylistically linked to Baroque and Rococo tastes, they date from the late 19th century to the first half of the 20th century.
Dimensions: 62 x 54 x 36 cm
The pair of bedside tables has a solid structure in good overall condition, with the typical richness of the floral inlays and carved details well preserved. Normal signs of time and use consistent with the period are noted, including light surface wear of the finish and small physiological imperfections of the inlaid wood. Defects on the top surface.
Please observe the photos carefully, as there are some signs of age consistent with the piece’s age and use.
Tracked shipping including secure packaging; any customs duties and taxes will be borne by the purchaser. Shipment on a reinforced pallet.
