Description from the seller

Small Bronze Age anvil – miniature anvil / bronze tool, approx. 6 cm

Culture: Bronze Age
Material: Bronze
Dating: ca. 1200 BCE / Bronze Age
Dimensions: approx. 6 cm
Condition: age-appropriate with attractive patina and signs of wear
Description
Interesting small bronze anvil, presumably from the Bronze Age. With a size of only about 6 cm and about 284 grams, it is a particularly compact and exceptional object.
The piece has the typical massive form of a small anvil and shows an age-related green patina as well as characteristic surface and wear marks. Such small metallurgical tools are of particular interest to collectors because they provide a direct link to early metalworking.

The anvil is a beautiful example of the craft tradition of Bronze Age metalworking and is excellently suited as a supplement to a collection of prehistoric tools, Bronze Age artefacts, or ancient metal objects.

Dimensions: approx. 6 cm
Material: Bronze
Weight: approx. 284 grams
