Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
A 777 g rough Bournonite specimen associated with Dolomite and Siderite, from the Brosso Mine in Valchiusella, Italy, measuring 12 × 10 × 5 cm.
Description from the seller
Sample description:
Splendid specimen of Bournonite associated with Dolomite and Siderite, characterized by an excellent association of Alpine hydrothermal minerals. On the rich matrix of whiteish rhombohedral dolomite crystals stand sharp, lustrous Bournonite crystals in the typical steel-gray metallic color, showing the classic parallel striations and geometric twinning of the species. The specimen is further enriched by lamellar and lenticular aggregates of brick-red Siderite arranged in a "rose" pattern, creating an extremely aesthetic and three-dimensional color and structural contrast. A classic Piedmontese collectible piece, rich in crystallographic details to observe carefully.
Località di provenienza:
Miniera di Brosso, Valchiusella, Città Metropolitana di Torino (Piemonte, Italia). Famous and historic mining site internationally renowned for the complexity of its skarns and for having produced exceptional samples of sulfides and carbonates, highly sought after by collectors for their historical significance and mineralogical quality.
Crystal therapy:
In crystal therapy, Bournonite is considered a stone of strong grounding, protection and focus, ideal for channeling excess energy and promoting mental stability. Its action pairs perfectly with Dolomite, which provides a calming influence, reduces stress and balances emotions, and with Siderite, which stimulates chakra alignment and imparts the determination needed to face changes, fostering a harmonious and protected environment.
Note:
The display bases in plexiglass visible in the photos are not included in the sale.
