Antique wall mirror – Ornate gilded frame – Late 19th / early 20th century
Elegant antique mirror with carved and gilded wooden frame, square format with an oval central mirror. The frame features rich relief decoration with vegetal motifs and scrollwork, characteristic of the historicist style of the late 19th or early 20th century.
The front part retains a gold finish with original patina, showing natural signs of aging that add character and authenticity to the piece. On the back you can see a solid wood structure with miter joints, as well as an old backing attached with original nails, which reinforces its age.
Condition:
Good overall condition for its age. It shows wear, small losses in the gilding and marks from the passage of time. The structure has some abrasion. The mirror shows aging appropriate to the period, with no visible cracks. (See photographs)
