AI-assisted summary
Description from the seller
LOT N°6 – French comedies and curiosities
Pathé Baby 9.5 mm Collection –
These Pathé Baby editions attest to the intention of making major works of French cinema widely available to the public.
The presence of complete series constitutes a real point of interest for collectors.
This lot brings together a varied set of French comedies, burlesque films, and productions that are today relatively uncommon.
Notably, it includes films by Fernand Raynaud, Beaucitron, Monsieur Pipelet, Robinson en herbe, Pickpoquet, Negritina, as well as several humorous and family productions released by Pathé Baby.
These films illustrate the diversity of the Pathé catalogue, which combined popular stars, humorous short films, and productions aimed at family entertainment.
This collection will appeal to collectors seeking less common titles that are representative of French popular cinema.
The films are sold with the boxes visible in the photographs.
The photographs are an integral part of the description and allow a precise assessment of the condition of the films and boxes.
It is possible that some reels contain several films with different themes.
