This handwoven Kilim stands out for its especially fine, graphic stripe structure and a calm, natural color impression. The entire surface is organized by numerous narrow, horizontally running lines that are slightly irregular in arrangement, giving the rug a lively, handmade texture.
Color-wise, browns, taupe, beige and cream dominate. The fine light lines clearly contrast with the darker brown and taupe tones, creating a dense yet tranquil overall image. A narrow vertical line runs through the center of the rug and visually divides the surface into two halves.
Classical ornaments or floral motifs are completely avoided. The effect arises solely from the delicate line structure, the natural color tones and the slightly irregular weave. This makes the Kilim look modern, restrained and very timeless.
