Design: The unique semicircular shape gives this piece a distinctive, sophisticated look. It rests on three slender, fluted Neoclassical legs ending in bulbous feet.
Materials: The supporting frame and legs are made of brass (or gold-toned metal) with a beautiful vintage patina, showing light natural oxidation and signs of age, adding character and authenticity to the piece. The seat is generously padded and upholstered in luxurious forest/emerald green velvet.
Details: The lower edge of the seat features a decorative brass band with a vertical ribbed pattern that echoes the leg design. The underside is finished with the same green velvet, fastened to the underlying wooden frame with screws.
Conditions: The item is in good vintage condition. The brass shows a surface patina and light signs of wear consistent with age.
