Description from the seller
An impressive XXL enamel advertising board from Medicus Schuh, rendered in a classic red-and-white color scheme with the recognizable Medicus logo.
At the bottom of the board the manufacturer is clearly marked as:
“Pyro-Email Boos & Hahn, Offenburg-Baden”
The board was therefore manufactured by the German enamel manufacturer Boos & Hahn from Offenburg, Baden. A particularly large size that was originally intended to be highly visible from a distance as store or facade advertising.
The board has a slightly convex shape and is made of sturdy metal with enamel. The letters and logos are rendered quite boldly and give the board a highly decorative look.
Dimensions: approx. 77 × 122 cm
Material: enamel on metal
Manufacturer: Pyro-Email Boos & Hahn, Offenburg-Baden
Country of origin: Germany
The board is in used condition with evident age and wear marks. Along the edges and corners there is localized enamel loss and rust formation. The back side also shows oxidation. These signs of wear give the board a pronounced industrial and authentic appearance. Please examine the photos carefully for the exact condition.
Due to its XXL width of 122 cm, this is a striking collectible for enthusiasts of vintage advertising, enamel signs, retail interiors, and industrial design.
