This is an original antique Art Nouveau tile made by: N.st.G. Norddeutsche Steingutfabrik, Grohn, Germany. The tile was made around the year 1900. The abstract decoration is in relief applied by means of a dust-pressed technique in which clay powder is compacted under high pressure in a mold. Dutch tiles from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, as well as tiles from the Art Nouveau and Art Deco period. I sell at special tile fairs in Germany and England, through Catawiki and eBay and through my website.
