Haagsche Plateelfabriek Rozenburg - Sam Schellink - Cup and saucer - Porcelain - eggshell porcelain

Haagse Plateelbakkerij cup and saucer with robin decoration.
Beautifully decorated with a bird among yellow flowers.

Painted by Sam Schellink, the master painter of egg-shell porcelain at this pottery.
The saucer is free of damage and in like-new condition, rare for this fragile porcelain. The cup is in like-new condition but has a mini chip on the footring. See attached photos.
The work order number for cup and saucer is identically number 60.

A splendid object for the Art Nouveau collector or museums including the Haags Gemeentemuseum, Boijmans van Beuningen and, of course, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
