Width: 6 cm
Length: 23 cm

Beautiful finish and carefully crafted details.

Pompon spent most of his life in the service of other artists. He led Rodin's workshop from 1890 to 1895, before becoming the assistant to René de Saint-Marceaux until 1916. In search of his own style, he was greatly influenced by the rise of Japonisme and his admiration for Egyptian art.

It was only at the age of 67 that he rose to glory, with the exhibition of his famous White Bear.

Parastone has been successfully creating decorative objects for almost 50 years, some of timeless classic beauty and others more aligned with prevailing trends. The collection of museum pieces presented under the name Mouseion constitutes an important part of the collection. Besides exact copies of major artworks, the Mouseion series also includes three-dimensional interpretations of paintings and drawings by many artists, from Hieronymus Bosch to Salvador Dalí.

« decorative object, luxury item, table art, collector, interior decoration, statuette, sculpture, no panther, no Orlinski, no Koons, pop art, no Kong »
