Description from the seller

Article: 6-piece set of appetizer plates/breakfast plates/dessert plates

Condition: Used / 1 plate on the stand ring with partial light chipping (see photo), otherwise all plates intact / sprig motif and gold rim unmarked / minimal (1-time light) signs of wear and use

Manufacturer: Staatliche Porzellan-Manufaktur Meissen (4 grinding marks, deputat, all plates)

Dimensions: H/Ø each approx. 2.7–2.9 cm / 20.3–20.5 cm

Service: "Altbrandenstein"

Decor: Sprig motif with gold rim in relief "Altbrandenstein"

Special features: hand-painted glaze-on, the Altbrandenstein service is rare to find

Production period: 1965 (5 plates) and 1968 (1 plate)

Marks: each with blue sword mark underglaze with 4 grinding marks, as well as each with the press mark "2305" (model number) and each with the press mark "48" (Bossierer number) with year sign.
The sword marks with 4 grinding marks denote "unremarkable pieces"; these are offered for purchase to employees of the manufactory.
Often, in times of crisis, the wages of Meissen employees were settled with their wares (in kind) (deputat)

We always pack all items with the greatest care and in a shockproof manner (packing paper, bubble wrap, air cushions, if necessary cardboard within cardboard). To date, 99.9% of porcelain pieces have arrived safely to customers, including larger dinner services (larger sets are often split into several packages). If a transport damage should occur (for example due to improper handling by the shipping service), you will be refunded the purchase price after the facts are reviewed or we will send you a replacement item after consultation and availability.
