6 vintage fondue plates in earthenware - Model "Edwige" - Saint-Amand (France, c. 1970)

Description :
Magnificent set of 6 fondue plates (or divided/condiment plates) in French earthenware from the famous Saint-Amand-les-Eaux earthenware manufacture.
This is the emblematic model "Edwige", featuring a superb stylized floral decoration in warm colors typical of the 1970s (brown, ochre and gold yellow). The back of the earthenware has a subtly speckled appearance, imitating the rustic look of stoneware, very fashionable at that time.
Each plate has a large central area and 5 fan-shaped compartments, perfect for sauces, condiments (pickles, onions) or different pieces of meat during your fondue, grill, or raclette evenings. The official pottery mark is present on the back of each piece.
Details and dimensions :
• Manufacturer: Saint-Amand earthenware (France)
• Model: Edwige (Form number: 1713)
• Era: Circa 1970
• Material: Glazed earthenware
• Quantity: Lot of 6 plates
• Diameter: 22 cm
• Unit weight: 490 g (Total shipping weight: approx. 3 kg)

Condition :
Nice vintage condition / superb state of conservation. The earthenware is shiny, the colors of the floral decoration are vivid and well preserved.
