AI-assisted summary

Description from the seller

Please take a good look at the photos!!!
Lauzitsercultuur terracotta potje with edge damage.
1300-500 BC
7.0 cm x 6.9 cm x

Such a small pot was used to store scarce or valuable substances. For example medicinal extracts, essential oils, aromatic ointments or rare resins.
Possibly also used as a grave offering

Through the two small, pierced ears on the side (cord holes) a string or leather strap was threaded through.
The pot could then be worn around the neck or hung from a beam in the house. This kept the contents safe from pests

I bought the pot around 1985 from the former auction house De Castanghe in Lochem (Netherlands)
The pot comes from a large private collection from Germany. At the time I bought several objects from that collection.
Further details are not known to me

I have no authenticity certificates or receipts for the objects and can only say that I obtained the objects legally
If you have doubts, please do not buy

Note!!
I do not ship outside the European Union. Also not to the Canary Islands
