WMF / Geislingen - Jardinière - Silverplated, Glass - Art Nouveau - Length 46 cm

Beautiful Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) flower dish or jardinière of silvered metal with a faceted glass inner insert, produced around 1900–1906 by the German metalware factory WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik).

Although once produced in large quantities, this size and in this condition with the original glass inner bowl has become very rare. The quality speaks for itself when you take the detail photos into account.

Condition: metal here and there slightly tarnished, revealing the copper at the edges in a few spots. See detail photos.
