Description from the seller
Elegant Rococo-Style Serving Trolley with Gilt Bronze and Polychrome Porcelain
Refined Rococo-style serving trolley, whose decorative features suggest it dates from the second half of the 20th century. The finely crafted metal frame, with a gilt bronze appearance, features rich raised decorations with floral and ornamental motifs in a classic style.
The piece has two tiers, each featuring a spacious mirrored glass shelf with elegantly shaped edges, supported by gilt bands embellished with raised floral appliqués.
The four vertical uprights, richly decorated with leafy elements, are enhanced with refined white polychrome porcelain inserts, adorned with small flowers modeled in relief and painted in delicate pastel shades, creating a pleasing contrast with the gilt finish of the frame.
The upper ends feature elegant, sinuous openwork handles with scrolls and curls typical of the Rococo style, finished with small pointed ornamental finials.
The base rests on four casters that match the frame and allow the trolley to be moved, making it practical and functional for serving.
The harmonious lines, intricate workmanship, and precious decorative details give the piece a particularly elegant and striking appearance. A highly charming furnishing accessory, ideal as a bar cart, serving trolley, or display piece for salons, living rooms, and distinguished traditional interiors.
