A decorative piece of great elegance

Magnificent Medici-form vase in Limoges porcelain, remarkable for its sumptuous deep cobalt blue, generous gilding, and elegant silhouette inspired by classical shapes.

This decorative piece stands out for the harmony of its proportions, the richness of its ornamentation, and the particularly refined contrast between the depth of the blue and the brilliance of the gold.

Its aesthetics evoke the taste of French decorative arts for majestic compositions and classic-inspired décors.

A superb cobalt blue and gold décor

The vase features a magnificent cobalt blue glaze, intense and glossy, covering the entire surface.

The central part is sublimated by a wide golden frieze with botanical motifs, composed of delicate leaves, scrolls, and finely detailed arabesques on an ornamental background.

This particularly elegant decoration forms a luminous belt around the body of the vase.

The flared neck is accentuated by a wide gilded rim, while the circular foot rests on a base also enhanced with gold.

The two large lateral handles, entirely gilded, display graceful curves and sculpted attachments inspired by classical design.

The overall composition is balanced and particularly decorative.

A French porcelain marked Limoges

The base bears a gold seal with the inscriptions “LIMOGES FRANCE,” accompanied by a crowned emblem.

This marking ties the piece to the Limoges porcelain tradition, renowned for decorative porcelains and carefully finished creations.

The vase presents a beautiful overall decorative appearance, with a brilliant cobalt blue glaze and gilding that retains a noble shine.

Some light signs of use and superficial traces are visible, notably on certain gilded parts and on the glazed surface.
